    Ann (Sullivan) Philpot died on March 4 at the age of 93 in Aiken, South Carolina.

    Ann served 34 years at MSC-JSC, beginning as secretary to the Deputy Chief and Chief of the Crew Systems Division and later to the Director of Science and Applications/Space and Life Sciences Directorate.  She was in Procurement for the last 16 years before retiring in 1996.

    Charley Parker died on Feb 28, 2025 at the age of 91.

    Charley joined NASA during the Mercury program. He worked through Project Gemini, where he helped lay the groundwork for the Apollo missions. He played a direct role in several Apollo missions.

    Joan Shack passed away on February 28, 2025 at the age of 80. She worked at JSC in the 2000's.

    Roy died on Feb 22, 2025 at the age of 92. 

    Roy was proud of his 36 years at MSC/JSC as a spacecraft quality assurance inspector during the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo space programs.

    George Dickey Arndt passed away January 31, 2025 at the age of 86.  He worked 55 years at JSC.

    Al passed away on January 25, 2025 in Dallas, TX at the age of 93.  He retired from NASA after a 26-year career at MSC/JSC.

    Grady passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 81. He retired from NASA after a 32-year career at MSC/JSC. His final move within NASA was to White Sands Test Facility, retiring as manager of the facility.

    Patrick passed away on January 6, 2025 at the age of 79. He retired from NASA after a 38-year career at MSC/JSC. At the time of his retirement in 2005, he was the Assistant to the Director for Management and Integration in the Mission Operations Directorate/DA.

    Norm passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 87.  He retired from NASA after a 34-year career at MSC/JSC.

    Robert died on Dec 23, 2024 at the age of 97. 

    At the end of 1958, Congress officially formed NASA from NACA, and Bob returned to Langley Research Center in Virginia to join NASA's Space Task Group, the original 45-member team tasked with managing the United States' human spaceflight programs. In 1961, as NASA grew, Bob helped establish the Johnson Space Center in Houston, which became the family's new home.
