In Memory of JSC Civil Servants

Benny passed away December 16, 2025 at the age of 90. He retired from NASA after a 35 plus-year career at MSC/JSC.

His visitation/rosary service will be December 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. (Rosary at 6 p.m.) at Forest Park East 

Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster.  Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 27, at Forest Park Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. 

Dr. Frank Garcia, Jr., died on Wednesday 12/10/26 in Houston. 

Frank had a 40-year career at JSC retired from ISS Vehicle Office.

Dr. Roger Billica, MD died on November 16, 2025 at the age of 73.

Roger was Chief of Medical Operations at JSC from 1991 - 2001.

Margaret died on November 13, 2025 at the age of 63.  She worked for NASA for 36 years, retiring on Feb 2, 2015.

Astronaut Rick Hauck who flew on three space shuttle missions, died at the age of 84 on November 6, 2025.

Don passed away on October 10, 2025 at the age of 94. He retired from NASA after a 19-year career at MSC/JSC.

Royce McKinney passed away on October 6, 2025. He retired after a 20 year career at MSC/JSC.

Don Harris died on October 2, 2025 at the age of 83.  Don spent 32 years working at NASA JSC.
