This Saturday, January 11, 2025, LSFM presents a one-day-only display of the incredible MQ-9 Reaper!
 

Have you ever seen a drone up close? Here’s your chance! This isn’t just any drone; it’s the massive MQ-9 Reaper, an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) that measures 36.1 feet long and 12.5 feet tall—about the size of a school bus. Under round-the-clock military surveillance, this is a rare opportunity to witness this powerful piece of technology up close.

This MQ-9 Reaper is on active duty with the 147th Attack Wing Squadron, a unit of the Texas Air National Guard, stationed at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base. The 147th Attack Wing flies combat support missions 24/7, providing surveillance, reconnaissance, and air support for US and Allied forces.

The MQ-9 Reaper will be on display from 10am - 3pm
