Following the Columbia accident, David was the engineering Co-lead for the Accident Fault Tree team.  During the Constellation Program, he was the SE&I Program Integration Manager, the SE&I Deputy Manager, and the Integrated Test and Verification manager.

David spent nearly 8 years as the Orion Avionics and Software Test System manager.  He served in the Ascent Abort 2 Integration, Test & Operations as a Test Operator and Test Conductor for AA2, and the day of launch console operator for the Ejectable Data Recorder (EDR) and as a backup flight vehicle operator.
