June 6th First Thursday Program-- Artemis I Overview

Our speaker for June will be Mr. Frank Lin, who will provide an overview of the Artemis Mission I, as well as provide information about future Artemis missions.  Mr. Lin is the Vehicle Manager for Artemis I, III, and IV for the Orion Program at the JSC.  In this role, he oversees, integrates, and coordinates the development and production of the Orion spacecraft from end to end.  He also provides program leadership for spacecraft processing and Artemis mission execution.

Frank joined NASA in 2011, and has held several technical and project management positions.  He has worked on conceptual design of future inter-planetary spacecraft, Space Shuttle orbiter thermal protection systems, and on-orbit repair of orbiter thermal protection systems. He was also the European Service Module (ESM) Integration Lead in the Crew Service Module (CSM) Office, and spent time as the Production and Assembly Lead, coordinating with the Orion Production Office.  Prior to joining NASA, he worked at KSC as a structures systems engineer, processing orbiters and solid rocket boosters. 

Frank has a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida, and a MS in Space Systems from Florida Institute of Technology.
