The University of Houston - Clear Lake (UHCL) at 2700 Bay Area Blvd was established in 1974 and has grown to be a significant institution that has partnered with NASA from the very beginning.
Given this significant milestone, UHCL its having a 50th Anniversary Kick-Off event on February 15 from 10 - 11:30 a.m.
Attendees will begin a walk-through in Atrium I of the Bayou Building, where the first of five “stations” will be set up. These stations represent all five decades of UHCL’s history and will be placed at various locations on campus. Enjoy a trip down memory lane at this celebratory event, along with some hot chocolate, free food and more! The UHCL Archives will be doing a custom 2-case exhibit in the Bayou Building Atrium of NASA and UHCL historic artifacts. They will be at a table with the exhibit and a large graphic university history timeline display featuring the Archives’ holdings.
