Norm Chaffee will be our guest speaker this month. He will share stories with us about a few of his many STEM education and outreach projects. Furthering STEM education is one of the primary goals of the NAL, and as an esteemed member of the NAL, Norm has been leading the way for many years. Norm has previously served as the NAL Director, President, and Secretary.
Following Norm's remarks, we will hear from Mr. James Loftus from the JPLMuseum in Oregon -- a museum that educates the public about spaceflight, while honoring the legacy of long-time JSC employee, Joseph P. Loftus.
Two individuals who contributed significantly to the JPLMuseum in particular, and numerous other STEM programs, are Norm Chaffee and Mr. James McBarron. Norm and the McBarron Family will be honored with presentations of flags flown over the US Capitol and the entry in the Congressional Record which recognizes their contributions to our country.

AFTER: Following the First Thursday program, head over to the KOTM!! KOTM will be held at 4 pm in the Bluebonnet Pavilion
