Exploration Green is celebrating its Grand Opening Sat. Sept. 30, 9 am to noon and later that evening with an outdoor showing of the Apollo 13 movie at 7:15 pm. Exploration Green is the incredibly popular 200-acre nature park and flood detention area with nearly over 3-miles of wide trails on the original site of the Clear Lake Golf Course. It’s taken about ten years to reach this completion of the fifth section with large flood detention lakes.
