Barrett Shaver is Chief Development Officer for Space Center Houston. In this role, he leads a staff of nine in all aspects of fundraising including major gifts, membership, special events, institutional giving, and estate and planned giving. Mr. Shaver will provide insights and updates on the initiatives and programs at Space Center Houston. He will be joined by Daniel Newmyer, SCH Vice President of Education, who will focus on the SCH education programs and what NAL has directly supported through our grants.
Prior to joining Space Center Houston, Mr. Shaver served as Director of Development for the San Francisco Jazz Organization and has also held roles in nonprofit consulting and higher education fundraising. He graduated from Dartmouth College and lives with his partner and two children in Houston’s Heights neighborhood.
