Carl Brainerd (retired), formerly with Link Flight Simulation, will describe the Shuttle Mission Simulator (SMS) complex used to train all Shuttle crews, and specifically the disassembly and current restoration effort on the Motion Base component of the SMS. The Motion Base is to be displayed at the Lone Star Flight Museum upon completion of the restoration.
