    Artemis I will be the first uncrewed flight test of the Space Launch System rocket and the Orion spacecraft.

    The refurbished, but now static, Space Shuttle simulator is powered up and on display at the Lone Star Flight Museum in Houston. Switches are configured for entry.  Small artifacts like a GPC, an MDU, Flight Data File items, the swizzle stick, a COAS, and a number of other things are also displayed.

    • NAL members are not allowed to drive onsite in Stage 1.
    • JSC is  planning to transition from Stage 2 to Stage 1 of the NASA Framework for Return to Onsite Work on March 28.
    • Low (Green) – Employees, both vaccinated and unvaccinated, are not required to wear masks indoors, masks are optional; regular COVID-19 testing is not required.
    • Individuals with increased risk due to medical conditions should consult with their physician to determine the need to wear a mask when the community level is either Medium (Yellow) or Low (Green). Anyone who tests positive or feels ill should not report onsite and should contact their physician.
    • Organizations (like NAL) are allowed to host large events in the Teague Auditorium, Gilruth and other venues on campus.
    • Escort-Required Visitor Badges (or purple badges) are not allowed in Stage 1 for unofficial visitors – this includes no family tours. Additionally, unofficial visitors are not allowed.
